Our smart market equipment records transaction data (items purchased, payment method, timestamp, location, and machine identifier) to support inventory management, pricing, fraud detection, and service improvement. Unless you identify yourself, transaction data is not linked to individual names. Payment card information is processed by PCI-compliant third-party payment processors and is not stored on our systems.
2.4 Sensitive Information
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, biometric identifiers, or information about race, ethnicity, religion, political opinions, health, or sexual orientation.

8. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”). TerrainIntel does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

9. Security and Breach Notification
We implement technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure, or misuse. These measures include HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege data handling, and secure hosting with reputable providers.
Breach notification. If we determine that a security breach has occurred involving the unencrypted personal information of North Carolina residents, we will notify affected individuals and the North Carolina Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division without unreasonable delay, in accordance with the North Carolina Identity Theft Protection Act (N.C.G.S. § 75-61 et seq.).
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@terraininteldistro.com and we will promptly delete it.
11. International Users
The Site is operated from the United States and is intended for users located in the United States, primarily North Carolina and the surrounding region. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or applicable law.
